I have a correction to make. I don’t hate aig. I just hate them here at eunos. Why? Cos last Friday I found out that they were gossipping behind my back (must be the girls guys don’t gossip unless it’s gary or weihao haha) that I was slacking in the office. I was so angry that on Saturday when I was on the bus I was thinking of stuff to do to piss them all off more. Since they like to gossip so much I might as well give them something new to talk about.
I love the people over at somerset though. All the saikang people. Haha. Ok it took me like almost 5 weeks to be able to talk to ash and andy. But the new aunty, ann, who took over ming yuan is super nice and talks to me all the time. Plus the 2 new guys helping rashid, yu xuan and piti, are super friendly as well. So I have plenty of people to talk to. And now I’m actually busy cos I help ann and ash with their stuff. Thank God for these 5 people over here at somerset.
5 more weeks of work. And this week’s gonna go by a lot faster cos I’m ponning on Wednesday (to go out with gary) and Thursday (to send gary off to ns). So yes come Friday it’ll be 4 more weeks of work and only 8 more days of seeing these horrible people here at eunos. Actually 7 days cos one of the Thursdays is Labour Day holiday. YEAH. Maybe 6 days, I’m planning to pon another Tuesday. So yes I can bear another 6 days with them.
thank God for colleen and her random messages of encouragement. thank God for weiqin and her messages of company.
I’m gonna make a list of things I wanna do when this contract ends.
1. Rent dance movies and musicals like step up 2, stomp the yard, across the universe, ray… and get a bag of chips and just enjoy the movies (and chips, kettle's good).
2. Grab a good book and enjoy it at Starbucks with a cup of ice blended mocha (yum!) or ice blended chocolate chip cream (even yummier!). cos I miss studying there. Haha.
Ok that’s the list so far. I’m sure I’ll think of something new along the way.
Anw I just fulfilled my New Year’s resolution! Probably a first for me. Haha. I ironed my clothes on Friday night! (Yeah I never knew how to iron before) Actually my mum made me cos she said she couldn’t keep up with me wearing a different top every day of the week so I had to iron my own tops. So yeah I can cook clean and iron now. Haha.
Ok I just realised I have quite a few random cuts on my hands. Must be the files.
Went over the Amos’ house yesterday cos he bought krispy kremes from Melbourne! Ahh they should really set up a branch here in Singapore they’re so good. Make that a few branches I don’t wanna wait 2 hours for my krispy kreme. Haha. Gerry came too! Gosh I miss that boy so much, he says the funniest things. He was complaining about the donuts in Singapore saying ‘it’s not a donut if there isn’t a hole’ (HAHA) and ‘the donuts here are wet in the middle’. Haha. Gosh I was laughing so hard. I miss Amos lots too. Wanted to meet up with him but he went to Melbourne for 3 weeks so by the time I found out it was too late. And he’s in army now. But I will organise another class gathering when the boys come out after their first 9 weeks!
Oh we were playing a game Amos bought as well. It’s called quoridor. It’s looks (and sounds) lame but is actually quite fun. I took a photo of Amos and Gerry playing shall post it next time. Gosh I really really really miss the both of them a lot.
I tried reading love in a time of cholera but it’s so ‘cheem’ that I gave up after 20 pages. Cos I bought the book to read during work and with people constantly talking around me at work, it’s hard to concentrate if the book’s using bombastic words and is oh so descriptive. So today I brought a new book, atonement, to work. Hope it’s better (and simpler).
